Onion Dip from Scratch

  1. Heat oil in a saute pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and 1/4 teaspoons salt.
  3. Cook the onions until they are caramelized, about 20 minute.
  4. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  5. Mix the rest of the ingredients and then stir in the cooled onions.
  6. Refrigerate and stir again before serving.
  7. Serve with potato chips for dipping.
