Olive's Beet Salad

A recipe handed down from my Great Aunt Olive

• Ready In: 45 mins
• Yields: 2 mason jars

Ingredients

• 6  large  cooked beets, finely cubed
• 1  pint cider vinegar
• 1  lb brown sugar
• 1  cup water
• 2  tablespoons dry mustard, not heaping
• 1⁄2 cup flour
• 1  tablespoon salt

Directions

1. In a large pot mix flour, sugar, dry mustard and salt with water and mix with beater Bring to boil and add chopped cooked beets and continue cooking for 5 minutes Pour into sterilized mason jars.
