This recipe was passed down by my Mother; she made batches of it every year, using the apples from our orchard. i have been making it for the last 2 yrs and get several requests for jars of it. it is wonderful with cold meats and cheese and i always add it to my sandwiches. Show more

Directions

  1. Process the apples, raisins, garlic, and onions in a food processor until chopped fine.
  2. Add the sugar, ginger, seasoning and vinegar and cook slowly stirring constantly until the mixture is the consistency of jam.
  3. Put in sterilised jars.
