Okra Soup

This is a delicious vegetarian soup that's very easy to make.

  1. Add water, tomatoes, cabbage, okra, potatoes, onion, rotel, sugar, salt and pepper together in a large Dutch oven.
  2. Bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat.
  3. Cover and simmer 45-50 minutes.
  4. Stir together flour, evaporated milk and butter in a small bowl until blended.
  5. Slowly add to soup and stir until thick.
  6. Add corn, mix well, and simmer 5 more minutes.
