Oatmeal Walnut Cookies is a Drop Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1⁄4 cups butter, softened
- 3⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 1⁄4 cups coarsely chopped and lightly toasted walnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375*F. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Combine first set of dry ingredients in a large bowl with a wire whisk. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Combine completely. Slowly add flour mixture until combined. Hand stir-in oats and walnuts.
- Drop 2 tablespoons of dough on prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Take from oven and allow to cool on cookie sheets for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove Oatmeal Walnut Cookies to wire rack and cool completely before storing them in a cookie jar with a loose lid. Makes 3 dozen Oatmeal Walnut Cookies.
