Oatmeal to the Max

I never serve plain oatmeal. I keep adding ingredients to boost the nutrition. I don't like sweet oatmeal, so there is no sweetener in this recipe. Feel free to add sugar or agave nectar to your taste. You can't mess this recipe up. You can add sliced/diced fruit on top after it is cooked, or cook it with the oatmeal. Sometimes I add a couple of tablespoons of finely chopped nuts and various dried fruits as well. Kids love this and it is very filling. Show more
