Oatmeal Cornflake Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 3⁄4 cups flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1⁄2 cup crushed corn flakes
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt; stir in oats and cornflakes. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla, then oil. Mix well.
- Add flour mixture; mix well.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
