Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In mixing bowl, beat eggs until frothy.
- Beat in both sugars.
- Add cooking oil & vanilla.
- Dissolve baking soda in hot water; stir into sugar and egg mixture.
- Add oats, flour & salt; stir well.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto greasec baking sheets.
- Bake in 350ºF oven about 8 minutes.
