  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the butter and sugar and brown sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and beat on low speed until smooth.
  7. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, and almonds.
  8. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared sheets, spacing them about 1 ½ inches apart.
  9. Bake until the cookies are golden brown, 10-12 minutes.
  10. Transfer the cookies to wire racks and let cool completely.
