Oat and Pecan Waffles

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1⁄4 cup wheat flour
- 1⁄4 cup wheat germ
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs, separate
- 1⁄2 cup pecans, chopped
Directions
- Measure out the 2 cups of milk and add 1 cup of oats (instant or old-fashioned) to the milk.
- Beat egg whites till stiff.
- Mix dry ingredients together and add the egg yolks, milk, and oats. Mix well.
- Fold in egg whites. Batter will be on the thin side.
