This dipping sauce is made from Chili, Garlic, and Fish sauce, which is the base of this sauce. May smell not so good BUT darn it sure is tasty!!! Do mix and match the optional ingredients to your tastes. Show more

Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons limes or 2  tablespoons lemon juice or 2  tablespoons vinegar
  • 2  tablespoons fish sauce (nư,,ớ,,c mắ,,m)
  • 1  tablespoon sugar
  • 2  tablespoons hot water
  • 1  serrano peppers (optional) or 1  Thai red chili peppers (optional) or 12  jalapeno, minced (optional)
  • 14 teaspoon lemongrass, slices (optional)
  • 1  garlic clove, minced (optional)
  • 1  teaspoon  minced  coriander (optional)
  • 1  teaspoon basil (optional)
  • 1  teaspoon mint (optional)
  • 1  teaspoon  minced ginger (optional)
  • 1  teaspoon scallion, sliced (optional)

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients with your optional one that you enjoy in a blender or small bowl of food processor and pulse a couple times.
