Noodle/Tamale Casserole

Delicious noodle & tamale casserole rich with tomato & cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1  lb  cooked noodles
  • 2  lbs  cooked ground beef
  • 3  large onions, chopped
  •  garlic, salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans  tamales
  • 1 (12 ounce) can  creamed corn
  • 1 (12 ounce) can pitted black olives (use the liquid)

Directions

  1. Cook noodles, drain. Chop onion then saute with garlic and meat until brown. Add other ingredients and simmer for a 5 minutes. Put in a large casserole dish 13x9 and cover with ½ lb grated sharp cheese.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
