Directions

  1. Prepare 3 packages of Jell-O gelatin in a large bowl as directed. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until Jell-O is partially set, but still a little "liquidy".
  2. Clean a NEW 1/2 gallon glass fish bowl, preferably the kind that is flat on the front and back.
  3. Add grapes and blueberries to bottom of fish bowl, spread evenly.
  4. Layer gelatin and gummy fish. You can poke gummies down with a spoon or your fingers to look as though they are randomly swimming in the water.
  5. Refrigerate 1/2 hour until better set.
  6. Display fish bowl with flashlight propped behind it to better see the display of fish.
  7. When ready to serve, you can use a washed NEW fish net to scoop the fish and fruit out, along with the Jell-O. Some kids might think this step is "gross", so make sure that your kids are OK with it.
