New Style Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs top round steaks
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
- 10 1⁄2 ounces beef broth
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon red wine
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1⁄4 cup cold water
- 1⁄4 lb mushroom, chopped
- 3⁄4 cup sour cream
Directions
- Trim all visible fat from the steak. Cut steak into thick slices, Place steak in the slow cooker.
- Add onion, garlic, worcestershire sauce, pepper, salt, paprika, broth, ketchup and wine. Cover and cook on low for 6 - 8 hours or until steak is tender.
- Turn control to high. Dissolve cornstarch in water. Add to cooker. Stir in mushrooms. Cover and cook 15 - 30 minutes or until bubbly. Stir in sour cream, stirring to blend.
- Serve over buttered noodles.
