Neat Almond Pretzel COOKIES!

Yields: 60 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 1⁄2 cups cake flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 tablespoons cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1⁄2 cup chopped almonds
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Work the shortening and flour if it was for pie crust.
- Combine the next 4 ingredients.
- Add this mixture to the flour mixture,and refridgerate until chilled.
- Roll dough into rolls approx.
- 8 inches long,& as thick as a pencil.
- Form into pretel shape.
- Slightly beat the egg white,& add milk.
- Brush this over each"pretzel".
- Sprnkle the almonds over each.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
