Directions

  1. Vitamin B or garlic supplements aid in strengthening the immune system.
  2. Some studies have shown small amounts of garlic per meal builds an odor and taste unacceptable to fleas.
  3. Apple cider vinegar may also repel fleas. A drop per day in the pet's water bowl will deter fleas and build the immune system.
  4. Brewer's yeast rubbed into a pet's skin or powdered on the fur are both recommended ways to naturally deter fleas.
  5. Citronella oil put into a shampoo is another method. Citronella oil and eucalyptus oil on the collar may help also.
  6. For Ticks: Basil can be crushed and mixed with water to use as a spray, or the essential oil can be rubbed into the fur and skin.
