Ingredients
- 2 ounces butter
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 4 teaspoons cocoa
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla essence
topping
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons cocoa
- 2 cups hot boiled water
Directions
- cream butter and sugar (just using wooden spoon).
- add egg.
- mix well.
- fold in sifted flour and cocoa alternately with milk and vanilla/.
- top with mixed cocoa and sugar.
- gently pour hot water over ingredients.
- bake in moderate oven for 30-40 minutes.
