Nameday Marine Tomato Soup

Ingredients
- 300 g shrimp
- 300 g crawfish meat
- 600 ml tomato juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1⁄2 tablespoon oregano
- 1⁄2 tablespoon basil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon chili
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
Directions
- Marinade the shrimp and crayfish in olive oil and herbs for 8 hours, preferably overnight in a fridge.
- Fry the shrimp and crayfish on low setting on butter until the shrimps get those red stripes from heat. Let cool.
- Heat up the tomato juice, adding 2 cups of warm water. When it starts simmering, add crayfish and shrimp with the oil and butter it was fried on.
- Mix until the soup tastes enough like seafood.
