Mystery Jam

I use a combination of fruits which I freeze when leftover from other jams I make over the summer. Strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, nectarine, cherry! It's different every time but always so yummy! Show more

Yields: 8 cups

Ingredients

  • 4  cups  mixed fruit, chopped
  • 7  cups sugar
  • 1 (3 ounce) package  liquid pectin
  • 1  teaspoon butter

Directions

  1. Sterilize jars and lids.
  2. Pulse chop fruit in food processor.
  3. Cook with sugar until full rolling boil, one minute.
  4. Add pectin and boil one minute more.
  5. Add butter to reduce foam.
  6. Skim and pour into jars and seal.
  7. Makes about 8 cups, or 8 jars of jam.
