My Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup Dark Karo syrup or 1 cup light Karo syrup
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2⁄3 cup pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell (do not use a deep pie crust)
Directions
- beat eggs well.
- mix sugar, starch and salt.
- add beaten eggs.
- stir in syrup.
- stir in pecans.
- pour into unbaked pie shell.
- bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes.
- pie will be soupy when hot but will congeal as it cools.
