Yields: 8 sandwiches
Ingredients
- 3 lbs pork, cubed
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 3 green peppers, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup vinegar
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
- Cover and cook for 8 hours on high.
- Shred meat with a fork, and then mix into sauce and heat through.
- Serve on hamburger buns with shreeded cheese of your choice, and a dollop of coleslaw on top if desired.
