My Favorite Stir-Fry Sauce

This is from a recipe in Easy Vegetarian Meals from Green Giant. I have long since decided I don't care for the stir-fry itself, but the sauce has been a go-to recipe for me for years. You can make a stir-fry of whatever you like and whip up this quick sauce to top it. I often double the recipe for my stir-fries, which tend to be on the larger size. Note: this does have a bit of zip, so be wary if you are feeding it to little ones and moderate the red pepper accordingly. Show more

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  2. Stir with a fork or whisk before adding to your stir-fry. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook until sauce begins to thicken.
