My Famous Two Step Chocolate Chip Cookies

I have had a lot of chocolate chip cookie recipes come through my kitchen, my husband cannot live without them. This is a variation I made of many that I use habitually.

• Yields: 4 dozen cookies

Ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 cups flour
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2  cups quick oats
• 1⁄3 cup white sugar
• 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
• 2  cups chocolate chips
• 1  cup butter
• 2  eggs
• 3  teaspoons vanilla

Directions

1. Pour all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
