My Best Burgers

This is the recipe I always use when we have hamburgers. The original is from my 'Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book' (1989 -- not so NEW anymore!), but I've changed it a little. Show more

Yields: 4-6 patties

Directions

  1. Mix all patty ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Shape into patties (I usually do 6, although my husband would prefer 4 larger patties!).
  3. Grill or broil (grilling tastes way better) and serve with all the other good stuff.
  4. OPEN WIDE!
