MX5 Cheese Scones

Yields: 8 Scones
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 4 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper or 1 pinch curry powder
- 1 cup tasty cheese (grated)
- 1 cup milk (more or less)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 215 degrees Celsius.
- Sift dry ingredients.
- Add most of the cheese.
- Mix to a light dough with the milk.
- Do not mix it too much!
- Turn out onto a floured board and gently knead.
- Roll out and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Cut into individual scones.
- Place on oven tray covered with baking paper.
- Bake for 12 - 15 minutes at 215°C.
