Ingredients
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 (8 ounce) package sliced mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1⁄2 cup instant brown rice
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Directions
- Combine chicken broth herbs and spices.
- Bring to a boil.
- Stir in the rice.
- Reduce the heat and cover.
- Simmer for 10 minutes or until the rice is cooked through.
- Stir in the walnuts.
