Mushroom Soup

Yields: 4 cups
Ingredients
- 1⁄4 lb butter
- 1⁄4 cup onion, chopped
- 1⁄2 lb sliced mushrooms
- 1⁄4 cup flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 cups milk
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions
- Brown chopped onions in butter. Add sliced mushrooms.
- Cook until tender.
- Blend in flour, then gradually add chicken stock and milk. Heat to boiling until mixture thickens.
- All salt, pepper and lemon juice. Simmer 10 minutes.
