Mushroom Potato Soup

Bone warming soup on a cold winter day.

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 2  tablespoons butter
  • 1  medium onion
  • 2  cloves  sliced garlic
  • 1  cup  sliced mushrooms
  • 2  pieces bacon
  • 6  medium  unpeeled potatoes (cubed)
  •  salt and pepper
  • 2  tablespoons cornstarch
  • 12 cup milk

Directions

  1. Saute onions, bacon,garlic, mushrooms in butter until golden brown.
  2. Cook potatoes in large panful of water until tender.
  3. Add in the sauted onions, mushrooms, garlic into potatoes and water.
  4. Cook until it starts to thicken.
  5. Combine corn starch into milk.
  6. Salt and Pepper to taste Add to potatoes.
  7. Stir until thick.
  8. Enjoy!
