Mushroom and Herb Sauce for Pasta

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 9 ounces mushrooms, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- fresh ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 5 tablespoons water
- parmesan cheese, grated
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a small saucpan, add the mushrooms and fry gently for about 5 minutes or until softened.
- Add the garlic and the parsley, season with pepper and leave to cook for a few minutes in their own juices.
- Gradually add the flour, stirring constantly, then enough water to make a thick, creamy sauce.
- Served with grated parmesan if you wish.
