Mum's Bolognese

Ingredients
- 750 g minced beef
- 800 g chopped tomatoes
- 100 g tomato puree
- 1 onion
- 1 red pepper
- mushroom
- 1 garlic clove
- mixed herbs
- 500 g spaghetti
- oil
Directions
- Peel and chop onion.
- Chop Pepper.
- Chop Mushrooms.
- Crush garlic.
- Shallow fry mince slowly in oil until brown.
- Add mince, onion, pepper, mushrooms and garlic to pot.
- Squeeze in half a tube of tomato puree.
- Add chopped tomatoes, be sure to drain them if they have a lot of juice.
- Stir in a teaspoon to a teaspoon and a half of mixed herbs.
- Bring to the boil and simmer for 1.5 hours.
- 10 minutes before serving boil the pasta.
- Serve hot with optional Garlic bread.
- Can be frozen immediately after cooling.
