Mulled Wine Raisin Bread

Use leftover nuts and raisins from making Mulled wine to make a kicked up version of raisin bread!

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, maca root, eggs and butter in a.
  3. bowl. I use a stand mixer.
  4. Stir in yeast mixture & knead to form a soft dough.
  5. Add Raisins and Nuts from Mulled Wine.
  6. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to coat.
  7. Cover & let rise until doubled, about 1 1/2 hours.
  8. Punch down, form in a greased loaf pan,& let rise again, about 1 hour.
  9. Bake at 350*F for 20-25 min, or until the top is browned.
