Ingredients
- 1 3⁄4 cups flour
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 3 ounces melted butter
- 1 cup raisins (optional)
- 1 cup strawberry (optional)
- 1 egg
Directions
- Preheat the oven at 190*C. Grease the muffin tin.
- Sifted flour, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl. In another bowl combine egg, milk, and melted butter. Mix well and add liquids all at once to flour mixture.
- Stir gently with fork until all dry ingredients are just moistened. Batter should look lumpy, quite lumpy.
- Spoon batter evenly into muffin tin filling two-thirds full. Bake for 15-20 min until golden brown. Serve warm.
