Moroccan Chicken (Slow Cooker)

Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs
- salt
- ground black pepper
- 1⁄4 cup olive oil
- 6 cups thinly sliced onions
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 (14 1/2ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon saffron
- 1⁄2 cup slivered almonds
Directions
- Place all ingredients in Crock pot. Cook on low for 8 hours
- Serve over couscous.
