Mop and Marinade Sauce

A recipe from the Ultimate Barbeque Cookbook. I used it to marinate steaks. I loved it. But DH found it too sweet. If you like sweet marinades, then you'll like it. (Pour over meat as marinade, or use as a mopping sauce on ribs or pork tenderloin, basting fresquently on the grill)

• Yields: 2 cups

Ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
• 1⁄4 cup red wine vinegar
• 1⁄4 cup olive oil
• 1⁄4 cup honey
• 1⁄4 cup real maple syrup
• 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
• 1⁄4 cup prepared yellow mustard
• 2  teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
• 2  garlic cloves, chopped
• 1  teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1  teaspoon  ground thyme
• 1  teaspoon ground rosemary

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients and pour over meat as marinade, or use as a mopping sauce on ribs or pork tenderloin, basting fresquently on the grill.
