Monterey Green Beans

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup chopped green onion
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 (16 ounce) can green beans, drained
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
- 1⁄2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1⁄2 cup shredded monterey jack pepper cheese
Directions
- In a saucepan, saute onions in butter until tender.
- Add beans, mushrooms and lemon pepper.
- Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until beans are tender.
- Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand for 1 minute or until cheese is melted.
