Mom's Top Secret Bleu Cheese Dressing

Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 5 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup canola oil
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄4 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 1⁄2 lb blue cheese
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Directions
- Cook sugar and water until bubbles are the size of a dime.
- Remove from heat and cool.
- Pour into blender.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend thoroughly.
- Add bleu cheese and garlic, leave a couple of chunks of the cheese as crumbles to add after blending.
