  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease a roasting pan with the butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add beef, pork, onions, peppers, garlic, eggs, cream, and bread crumbs.
  4. Blend thoroughly.
  5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  6. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place on the prepared pan.
  7. Pour the stock over the top and place in the oven.
  8. Place in the oven and bake for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, basting occasionally.
  9. Remove the pan from the oven.
  10. Using a long spatula, remove the meat loaf from the pan.
  11. Place the roasting pan on the stove, over high heat.
  12. In a small bowl, whisk the flour with 2 tablespoons water.
  13. Whisk the slurry into the gravy.
  14. Bring the liquid to a boil and cook for few minutes, stirring constantly.
  15. Season the gravy with salt and pepper.
  16. Slice the meatloaf in to 8 pieces.
  17. Serve two slices of meat loaf per person with a spoonful of gravy.
