Mom's Ground Beef Casserole

Adapted from Quick Cooking. This makes a lot!

Ingredients

  • 2  lbs ground beef
  • 1  medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1  medium onion, chopped
  • 9  cups  cooked  wide egg noodles
  • 1  lb Velveeta cheese
  • 1 (15 1/4ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (11 1/2ounce) can  condensed chicken with rice soup, undiluted
  • 1 (10 3/4ounce) can  condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1  teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. In a Dutch oven, cook beef, green pepper and onion and drain.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Transfer to two greased 2-1/2-qt. baking dishes.
  4. Cover and bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until bubbly.
