Mom's Ginger Tots

An easy little recipe for everyone to have to fill those cookie jars for your grandkids!!

  1. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and ginger. Mix into butter mixture. Add flavoring, then work and knead. Chill in fridge.
  3. Form into small balls the size of marbles. Place two inches apart on well greased sheet; press with fork and bake at 375F for 8-10 minutes.
  4. ICING: Combine butter, lemon juice and icing sugar; spread between cookie halves. Enjoy!
