Mom's Delicious Apple Cake

This is a delicous extra moist and apple-ly cake. I have always made it for my Mom's Birthday party! Wonderful with a sprinkling of cinnamon/sugar or powdered sugar on top, plain, or iced with cream cheese frosing.

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 2  cups sugar
• 2  teaspoons baking soda
• 2  tablespoons cinnamon
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 2  eggs
• 2  cups flour
• 4  cups  peeled diced apples

Directions

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add baking soda, cinnamon, salt and eggs.
3. Mix in flour.
4. Add apples.
5. Pour in a 9 x 13 pan.
6. Bake at 350F degrees for 45-50 minutes.
7. If desired, ice with cream cheese frosting.
