Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup molasses
- 2 eggs (unbeaten)
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 1 1⁄2 cups natural bran
- 1 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup raisins (optional) or 1⁄2 cup chopped dates (optional)
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Add molasses and bran and milk.
- Mix well.
- Add dry ingredients and stir just until blended inches.
- Fill Lined muffin tins 2/3 full.
- Bake 375 for 15-20 min.
