Mom Wood's Pound Cake

Best tasting pound cake - my husband just raves about it!

Ingredients

• 3⁄4 cup  of softened butter
• 3⁄4 cup  Crisco
• 2 1⁄4 cups sugar
• 6  eggs
• 3  cups flour
• 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 3  teaspoons baking powder
• 3⁄4 cup milk
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Prepare (grease and flour) a tube pan.
3. Put all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat for 20 minutes.
4. Pour into the prepared baking pan.
5. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
