Mom Hynek's Rhubarb Dessert

Ingredients
- 4 cups rhubarb (1-1/4 lbs)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 1 (18 ounce) box white cake mix
- 1⁄2 cup butter
Directions
- Place chopped rhubarb in a 13x9 pan.
- Mix sugar and jello together and sprinkle over rhubarb.
- Pour water over the rhubarb.
- Sprinkle cake mix over the entire mixture in the pan.
- Cut butter into small pieces and spread evenly over the top.
- Bake at 375 for 1 hour to 1-1/4 hours.
- The top should be lightly browned.
