Molasses Skillet Taffy

Going back to old school! Something you would find in an old country store! :-)

• Ready In: 2 hrs 15 mins
• Yields: 3 cups

Ingredients

• 2  cups molasses
• 1  cup granulated sugar
• 1  tablespoon white vinegar
• 1  tablespoon butter

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a large iron skillet.
2. Bring mixture to a boil.
3. Continue cooking and stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon until mixture reaches 310 degrees F on candy thermometer.
4. Pour into greased cake pan and refrigerate.
5. When hard break into pieces.
