Molasses Raisin Cookies

An old fashioned drop cookie that is a great "dunker".

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
  2. Cream margarine, sugar, and molasses.
  3. Add egg and mix.
  4. Sift and add dry ingredients to mixture.
  5. Mix in sour milk.
  6. Fold in raisins.
  7. Drop by teaspoonsful on greased baking sheet and cook 10-12 minutes.
  8. Do not overcook.
  9. Makes very soft cookies.
