Molasses Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup vegetable oil or 1⁄2 cup canola oil
- 1 1⁄4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄3 cup molasses
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- sugar, for rolling
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients together, dough will be thick.
- Using your hands, form into small balls (the size of a radish), and roll in sugar.
- Place on greased cookie sheet, making sure cookies do not touch each other.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
