Mohn Candy (No-bake Sesame Candy)

  1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, honey, tahini, and poppy seeds.
  2. Cook the mixture over a low heat until thick, about 30 minutes (stir constantly).
  3. Add the nuts and stir well.
  4. Wet a wooden board and pour the mixture onto it.
  5. Pat down the mixture with your hands (CAUTION: Hot!!) or a wet spatula until the candy is about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Slice with a wet knife into diamond shape pieces.
