Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup sesame seeds
- 2 -4 tablespoons ground sumac or 2 lemons, zest of, finely grated
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 teaspoons ground marjoram
- 1⁄2 teaspoon whole dried marjoram
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons dried savory
- 2 tablespoons ground thyme
- 1 teaspoon whole dried thyme
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt, about
Directions
- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat, shaking the pan frequently, until lightly browned (2 to 3 minutes).
- Let cool.
- Combine all the ingredients.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 months.
