Mock Mead

this recipe comes from "great medeaval project"

• Yields: 10 mugs

Ingredients

• 2  quarts cold water
• 3⁄4 cup honey
• 1  orange
•  nutmeg (to taste)

Directions

1. mix the water & honey in a pitcher.
2. wash the orange,slice it thinly & drop the slices into the pitcher.
3. sprinkle with nutmeg & chill.
4. serve in metal or crockery mugs,if you have them.
