Ingredients
For cake
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1⁄2 cup cocoa (for cake)
- 1 dash salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1⁄2 cups nuts, chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- miniature marshmallow
For frosting
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- 1⁄3 cup cocoa
- 1⁄4 cup margarine, softened
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F and grease/flour a 13 x 9 cake pan.
- Beat margarine and sugar until fluffy; add eggs and mix well.
- Sift dry ingredients together and add to batter.
- Stir in nuts and vanilla.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Immediately after removing from oven, pour 1 small bag of miniature marshmallows evenly over cake and mash down.
- Beat the frosting ingredients together and spread over marshmallows.
